Neil Alexander
In 1996 Neil and long time production partner Nita Rae formed P-Dog Records, a Hudson Valley based independent Record Label. His 1996 release Alone At Last showcases his composition and arranging skills, as well as his flair for production and engineering. After relocating to Newburgh, NY and opening his own recording studio, he has produced a steady stream of records with various artists like Funkadelic founder Tal Ross, Frank 'O The Mountain, Mirror, Virginia Dare, The Machine, and 4Front, as well as with his own groups NAIL and the Inner Music Ensemble. In addition, he is teaching private students and master classes in analog synthesizer programming and midi performance applications; and conducts high school clinics in sampling and performing. Currently Neil is touring with NAIL, who just released their 3rd CD entitled "Tugging At The Infinite". He also performs solo, electronically as Logical Oscillator (performed entirely on laptop computer) and in solo piano performances featuring Igor Stravinsky's Sacre du Printemps (the Rite of Spring), that he transcribed himself from the orchestral arrangement.
